What is the light-emitting principle of led lights?
First of all, it is necessary to understand what is an LED. The full name of LED: light emitting diode | LED Light, meaning light emitting diode. Although LED is a light-emitting device, it is still a diode in the final analysis, and has the same volt-ampere characteristic curve as ordinary diodes. Different from ordinary diodes, the PN junction inside the LED, under the action of voltage driving, the internal electrons and holes will recombine, and the energy of the recombination process will be released in the form of light. This is the working principle of LED lights. For white LEDs, in addition to chips, there are phosphors in the internal structure. Generally, the blue light chip is used to excite the yellow phosphor powder, and the white light is obtained by recombination. In addition to the electroluminescence of the chip, there is also the photoluminescence of the phosphor powder. In addition to this form, there is also a combination of chips of three primary colors to obtain white light.
